Evaware disposes of Project E-vita EMR rights

It all started back in 2003 when Evaware embarked on an ambitious project to develop a web based patient record system that utilised SNOMED-CT as its core terminology. In fact Evaware is still shown in online SNOMED-CT material as one of the early adopters of the ground breaking terminology born out of a cooperation between the UK NHS & CAP, the American College of Pathologists.

But now Evaware has taken the strategic move to exit the market of hosting patient records and has sold the rights to a new third party. Confidentiality of the agreement demands that we cannot reveal the new owner but the Project E-vita codebase will live on with the new owner’s product range albeit minus the name.
